It’s been a long time since we posted some of Shou-Ching’s photo art. As a reminder, she likes to pair interesting photos she’s taken with apposite quotations; a collection of her art can be found on this page.
For today, we have a special Mother’s Day edition — two pieces of art, one for children, one for moms:
(These are two day old lambs born a few weeks ago at Drumlin Farm in Lincoln, Massachusetts.)
(Gorillas in the Bronx Zoo, New York.)
Happy Mother’s Day to all moms!
Lovely. Both of them. Thank you, Show-Ching, for your thoughtful art, and Paul for sharing. Happy Sunday to your family.
Beautiful ! Happy Mother’s Day! ~Jan
Happy Mother’s Day! Blessings on you both.
Should-Ching’s photography is very beautiful.
New subject.
I have your book and refer to it often.
Is wild rice OK, or toxic like brown rice?
Thank you, Connie
Hi Connie,
Thank you! Brown rice is better than wild rice.
Best, Paul
Hi Paul…
Why is wild rice worse than brown rice ?
TIA Darrin
Lin Yutang is talking nonsense. Consider cases where a woman is crazy, homicidal, sadistic, psychopathic or just plain stupid. Or her partner is one or more of the above. Does she still have the right to subject her children to such an environment? What about woman in areas which are likely to be subjected to natural disasters and famines, or other occurances of nature that serve to make the lives of humans more miserable. Should she have the right to be a mother?
