Shou-Ching and I have contributed a guest post to Dr. Alejandro Junger’s Clean Program blog, as part of a feature called “My Way.” It explains how Shou-Ching and I live — our lifestyle and our food. It has videos of me exercising, and photos of our home and food, such as:

Your work/ book is a life changer
That’s great to hear Catherine!
Great work Paul, thanks for sharing.
Thank you. I’ve read your book, but have wanted to know more about meal plans. This gave me another glimpse.
Nice – I really enjoyed this post. Thank You for all your work.
I just got back from Siesta Key beach a week ago. They have the whitest beaches!
Very helpful post, in terms of seeing how this works on a practical level.
We’ve really been enjoying the flavor combinations you recommended in your book.
Have you recommended/linked any colored light bulbs, or maybe it’s the light fixture itself that is amber-ish colored?
Thanks,
Tanya
Tanya, there are specific recommendations from Paul on the Supplements page.

Thank you! I never went that far down the page before. 😳
That soup looks good. I might have to look into that further. thanks
Hey Paul, the exercise you refer to in the guest post is called the ‘Carioca’ not ‘Karaoke.’ Carioca means a person from Rio de Janeiro, and it kinda looks like the dancing they do. It’s a common sprint warm up.
Oh, I thought Paul was going to sing.
Thanks Michael, didn’t know that!
Hi Paul,
Nice sharing it with us!
I was wondering if your bodyweight training routine spans the entire week or d you allow youself rest days to recover? I took it from this article you’re doing it daily.
Thanks a lot,
Mihnea
Hi Mihnea,
My exercise is not very intense, so I think it would be good to do it daily. But I tend to get busy and miss multiple days per week. I intend to do it daily.
Hi, Paul!
This was a very useful segment. Getting to see what your lives/house actually look like was very helpful.
I’m curious – do you use white lights during the day for a particular reason? Are they the best indoor lighting to use during the day?
We recently experimented with replacing our fluorescent lights with full-spectrum (‘sunlight-like’) lights, but I experience a headache when using them.
Also, is red the best spectrum for nighttime lighting? We’ve been looking for something to help replicate “nighttime/sunset”.
Great post, really enjoyed it. Sort a “day in the life of PHD.” Very helpful and helps me connect some more.
